        sales process to hospitals nationwide.  Clinical process flow analysis in regards to Discharge 
        Planning, Audits, Documentation Integrity, Ad Hoc Reporting, and Clincial Review Case 
        Management. 

The Global Social Work Network, New York, NY, USA (October 2003- Present) 
        President & founder of an international social work networking 
        organization. Duties include international recruitment & 
        placement of social workers, marketing, member services,
        membership sales and retention, networking, authorship of
        monthly newsletters, & website maintenance. Facilitated sales

Exim*Trade International, New York, NY/Seattle WA/Austin, TX (May 2000-August 2009) 
        Travel consultant providing executive travel services to the 
        CEO, agents, staff, & international clients for an international 
        trade consulting firm. Duties include assessment of client needs, 
        customer service, and networking. Coordinated international 
        and domestic travel and negotiated discounts with travel 
        organizations, resorts, hotels, airlines, and internet resources.

Davita Dialysis, Austin, TX (May 2006-November 2006) 
        Full time case management to End Stage Renal Disease patients 
        in a for-profit outpatient clinic. Duties include insurance 
        authorization, medical social work, customer service, crisis 
        intervention, long term follow up, referrals and coordination of 
        services with outside vendors and representatives.

Northwest Kidney Centers, Seattle, WA, USA (November 2004-May 2006) 
        Full time Medical Social Work and case management to 132 
        patients with End Stage Renal Disease. Provided community 
        outreach education for patients with chronic kidney disease 
        (CKD). This organization housed the first outpatient 
        dialysis clinic in the world. Provided education & customer 
        service at CKD classes in the community.

Highline Medical Center, Burien, WA, USA (September 2003-May 2006) 
        Per Diem and full time medical social work to telemetry, surgical, 
        ER, and family childbirth center. Worked full time in oncology 
        for a year during which facilitated the Breast Cancer Support 
        Group and Outreach Education for new diagnoses for breast 
        cancer. Coordination of resources and discharge needs for 
        patients in the acute care setting.

CareForce, Lynnwood, WA, USA (August 2003-May 2006) 
        Per Diem discharge planning to various hospitals in Seattle and 
        Everett. In addition, home health visits and assessments.

Capital Dialysis of Texas, Austin, TX, USA (December 2001-December 2002) 
        Full time case management to 120 patients with End Stage 
        Renal Disease. Facilitated coverage with insurance, Medicaid, 
        and Medicare. Coordinated durable medical equipment, medical 
        follow up, and patient prescription assistance programs. 
        Discovered and initiated various programs to ensure 
        reimbursement for indigent patients. 

St.David's Partnership: South Austin Hospital, Austin, TX, USA (August 1999-December 2002) 
        Provided resources and referral to those primarily in a critical 
        medical predicament on a full time and per diem basis. Duties 
        included medical social work, crisis intervention, and discharge 
        planning to those in the emergency room, ICU, step-down, 
        acute care, and labor and delivery. Worked extensively with 
        issues related to rape, child abuse, elder abuse, nursing home 
        placement, death, domestic abuse, suicide, drug overdose, 
        alcohol abuse, and homelessness. Coordinated medical follow up 
        for those with little or no financial resources.

SETON Brackenridge Hospital, Austin, TX, USA (March 2001-December 2001) 
        Full time assessment and coordination of services to those with 
        illness primarily related to infectious diseases, terminal illnesses, 
        chronic medical conditions, and outpatient wound care. 
        Extensive support, resources, referral and discharge planning to 
        those with various medical diagnoses, such as, diabetes, 
        HIV/AIDS, cancer, and severe infections. 

Saint David’s Emergency Room, Austin, TX, USA, (December 2000-January 2002) 
        Per diem crisis intervention and resource referral to diverse 
        populations with needs related to emergency medical attention. 
        Populations served in this setting include patients related to 
        elder abuse, nursing home placement, death, domestic abuse, 
        suicide attempts, psychiatric crises, drug overdose, alcohol 
        abuse, and homelessness. Ensured follow up to appropriate 
        community outreach services for various populations. 

Saint David’s Rehabilitation Hospital, Austin, TX, USA (August 1999-March 2001) 
        Provided per diem case management to patients with spinal 
        cord and brain injuries in a day program providing physical, 
        speech, and occupational therapy. Coordinated family 
        conferences and provided support regarding life changes and 
        transition returning home. Duties included insurance 
        authorization and precertification of benefits to prolong 
        therapeutic services. Coordinated vocational services and met 
        needs related to newly disabled diagnoses, such as prosthetics, 
        home modification, and transportation needs.

Saint David’s Pavilion, Austin, TX, USA (October 2000-April 2001) 
        Per Diem psychological and social assessment, referral, and 
        placement of those with issues related to psychiatric illness and 
        chemical dependency. DSM-IV evaluation to those needing to 
        be screened for services, as well as insurance authorization and 
        precertification.

Exempla Saint Joseph’s Hospital Denver, CO, USA (September 1998-June 1999) 
        Medical social work graduate school intern providing resources 
        and support to those with issues related to domestic abuse, fetal 
        demises, burial, miscarriage, birth control, sexual abuse, drug and 
        alcohol abuse, and marital problems. Primarily worked with 
        women and families with special needs related to pregnancy, 
        acute care, intensive care, and discharge. Provided support and 
        services to low income, high-risk pregnant women in an 
        outpatient clinic.

Catholic Charities, Denver, CO, USA (September 1997-May 1998) 
        Case manager/intern linking homeless families to community 
        resources and placement. Responsibilities included screening, 
        interviewing and case managing the homeless in community 
        shelters, as well as placement into transitional housing. 
        Addressed issues with families related to domestic abuse, drug 
        and alcohol addiction, chronic mental illness, post traumatic 
        stress, child abuse, financial concerns, medical care, and various 
        legal issues. Assessment and emergency assistance provided to 
        families and individuals in financial crisis. Services included 
        clothing, medication, rent, utility assistance (FEMA), food and 
        bus passes.
